Google Instant is a remarkably faster way of searching as it displays the search results as you type and also suggests the search term for you.
But you can make it work even faster by using the keyboard instead of your mouse. To enter the search term, type in part or all of a word and then use the up and down arrow keys to move through the suggested search terms. As you move through the terms the search result is updated instantly (almost). Hit Enter to confirm your search.
You can now use the up and down keys to move through the results of the search. An arrow on the left side of the search result indicates the selected result. Hit Enter again to open the website of your choice.
