New Tools to search the web
I personally prefer Google to search the web. But there are other tools which can help you in your search. Let’s see a couple of this now.
Chacha
The first one is a new search tool called ChaCha. Chacha calls itself a revolutionary new search engine. Personally, I would not call it a search engine since it actually gets its search results from Google, Yahoo, MSN and Ask. Chacha gets the best results from the above search engines and it also includes the best results that have been selected by people. One innovative and unique feature of Chacha is that it provides live help through Guides.
To get live help just enter your search term and click on ‘Search With Guide‘. Within a few seconds you will be connected to a Search Guide. It is just like a chat session wherein you can tell the guide what you are looking for. The guide is supposedly adept at searching the web and will search the web on your behalf and give you the most relevant results. This is a very useful feature, particularly for those who are not good at searching by themselves.
Frankly, I will stick to using Google. Do check out Chacha and see if you could really use it.
Zuula
With Zuula, it is quick and convenient to get results from multiple search engines. Search engines often return very different results for the same terms. So checking multiple search engines may give you the best results, and Zuula makes it easy.
You don’t have to go to all the search engines one by one and search for the term. Just enter your search term and start search. Zuula searches various search engines and presents you the results from several search engines, each in its own tab.
Currently, Zuula offers Web, Image, News, Blog, and Job searches.
