Physics made easy with simple Flash animations

Posted on 05 May 2008

If you like Physics then you need to check this out. The site belongs to the Dept. of Physics, University of Toronto and is called Upscale, acronym for Undergraduate Physics Students’ Computing and Learning Environment.

Just go to the above link and you will find lots of animations illustrating the basic laws and concepts in Physics. All these animations have been created with Adobe Flash and are pretty small in size. The animations are sorted by categories like Classical Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism etc.

Here is one of the animations.

It is definitely easier to understand a concept when you actually see it visually, even if it is just an animation, than just reading them in words.
