Sputtr - makes your web search fast and easy
Sputtr is a new and convenient way to search the web.
It is not a search engine by itself. It is actually built from a collection of search engines and all the social sites that are out there. It lets you find things faster and only from places you want. Apart from Google and Yahoo, Sputtr lets you search social sites sites like Technorati, digg, Flickr, YouTube, del.icio.us etc. All these sites appear as pretty large icons which are easily identifiable.

Searching is easy with Sputtr. Suppose you want to search for pictures of say, iPod in Flickr. Just enter iPod in the search field and click on the Flickr button. The results from Flickr are immediately displayed. It is very convenient. Actually it kind of encourages you to experiment with your searches in different sites, as all it takes is a click of the mouse. For instance, you can easily search for a term in digg, reddit, del.icio.us and furl with just a few clicks.
The number of search engines and the sites that can be searched will increase as more and more sites are added in the future.
One thing you can’t do with Sputtr is - advanced search of any kind. But I don’t think it is a drawback, because Sputtr is basically meant for quick searches which I must say it does well. If you really need advanced search you are better of going to the Google page or to the site you want to search.
I have already added Sputtr to my bookmarks and believe I will be using it often.
