Ascii image

I am sure you would have come across images like these that are made up of only Ascii characters. Probably you have even wondered “How creative and patient the person must be who created such an image !!”. You can stop wondering. Even you can make such images. Actually there are softwares which convert ordinary photographs into these kinds of images. One such tool is asciiomatic.

It is actually an online tool, so you don’t have to download anything. On the contrary you just have to upload your image file which you want to convert. Next, choose how your converted images should look. You can choose between B&W or Color image. You can also choose if you want the resultant image to be made up of Ascii characters or small squares. Once you have made you selection just click on apply. In just a few seconds your image will be converted. You can even generate an html output of the converted image, but the html format is not as appealing as the original.
