Google maps offers a fun feature called “Where in the world” game which lets you test your knowledge of world geography by challenging you to identify a random set of countries using the mapping service’s satellite imagery.
It is a labs feature and so you need to enable the feature in the settings. First go to http://maps.google.com. Then click on the settings icon (the gear icon) on the top right of the page and select “Maps Labs”.

In the window that pops up, look for “Where in the World Game” and enable it. You will find a new link called “Where in the world” beside the Print and Send links.
There are 10 places to name in each game, and a total of 680 points to score depending on the speed and accuracy of your answers.
This is quite a nice and useful way to kill your time.
