Check your mails even if your mail website is not working - with mail2web

Amit recently said in his blog that even if Gmail website returns an error you can still check your mails through Outlook or Thunderbird. A good idea.

But what if usually you don’t use a mail client? Most probably you don’t have Outlook configured to receive mails from Gmail. So before you can get the mails you need to first configure it. What if you neither have Outlook or any other mail client installed? If you are not in a hurry you can download a client, install it, configure it and then check your mails. And what if you are using someone else’s computer or are at the internet cafe?

No worry. There is an easier way to check your mails. Just go to mail2web.com. It is a free service where you can check any kind of emails. You don’t even need any prior registration to use it. For most email services, just your mail id and your email password is usually enough to fetch you your mails.

For more advanced use mail2web also lets you include the server name or IP address and choose the protocol to be used viz., POP3, IMAP4 or SSL. That way, you can fetch mails from almost any kind of free email services or your business mails. Needless to say,.you can also compose and reply to your mails.

Since there is no installation or difficult configurations, you can check your mails anytime, anywhere with just your browser.
