ExTools is a free Microsoft Excel add-in program that has lot of useful functions that can make your life easier working with Excel.
While some of the functions available in ExTools simplify a task which normally would take much more time otherwise some tools in ExTools are additions which are not available in Excel. These can come in very handy when required.

For example, you might have had instances when you have empty rows or columns or rows within your data. As far as I know there is no easy way to remove these except to select them manually and remove them. However, with ExTools you can select the range of data and with a single click remove the empty rows or columns.

Then there is this Converter tool built into ExTools which can convert a lot of the most common units in categories like Area, Length, Volume etc. This is a very convenient option and can save you a lot of time.
I have listed some of the functions that caught my eye:
- Check for duplicates
- Save selection as html
- Save selection as Picture
- Hide blank rows/columns at end of sheet
- Remove hyperlinks on worksheet
- Conditional select Cells by Format
- Convert between Roman and Arabic Numbers
There are many more useful functions and tools within ExTools. I am sure you will find it useful and best of all it is free.

Dear Suresh
I search a lot for getting a software to convert numbers but all softwares i find is not satisfied to my needs. today i get it.
Great Add-on, Thanks
Do you have add-on in Excel for using date in format dd/mm/yyyy
@Shankar: You don’t need any add-on to get dates to be formatted as dd/mm/yyyy. Just change the date format in the Windows’ Regional Settings (in Control Panel) to the desired format.
