No matter how advanced your computer is or how stable the applications you use are, you are bound to encounter frozen programs now and then.
But if you have this tiny free utility called One Click App Killer, you could kill frozen programs with a single click. That’s assuming you don’t count the double click needed to run the program first. Upon double-clicking on the program icon, your mouse pointer changes into a bull’s eye. Now, click anywhere on the frozen application’s interface to quickly eliminate it from your screen and memory. That’s it.
But do note that a wrong click and you could end up killing the wrong program. Though rare, clicking outside the frozen program’s interface could close Windows itself.

Seems like overkill for a task that the built-in Task Manager is designed to do.
I’d even recommend that SysInternals’ Process Explorer as a replacement for Task Manager, but certainly not this.
What advantage does this app possess over Task Manager?
If it’s an application that’s misbehaving, there will be a window (perhaps frozen), so the offending app can be terminated from the Applications tab without the need for a technically challenged user to wade thru the processes.
OMG .. fantastic application. I am a real fan of FORCE QUIT application in Ubuntu. Its now on Windows too. Cool !! Thanks ..
The problem with Task Manager is that it doesn’t work all the time. On my computer, it does the job maybe half the time–the rest of the time I have to restart. I am so glad to find a REAL app killer that works!
