When the name of the registered owner of the computer isn’t you and you want to change it, do this using a Registry fix.

Open the Registry (Start>Run, type Regedit and click OK). In the registry, select My Computer then choose Edit>Find and type RegOwner in the search box. When the entry is located, right-click it, choose Modify and alter it as required. The RegCompany key directly above this is the Company name.
