Make free VoIP calls to landlines and mobiles from your PC

With GizmoCall you can make free web-based calls to most landlines and mobile phones around the world. Yes, it’s truly free.

Making calls is easy. Just go to Gizmocall website and enter the phone number you want to call in the ‘Type a number‘ field and click ‘Call‘. If it is the first time you are using Gizmocall, then you are prompted to install a 1MB flash plugin, without which things wouldn’t work.

Needless to say the ‘Free’ is not unlimited. A registered user is entitled to ten minutes of free calling per day to select landlines and mobile phones, subject to a maximum per-call length of three minutes and a maximum per-week limitation of 30 minutes. On the other hand an unregistered user is entitled to five minutes of free calling per day to select landlines and mobile phones, subject to a maximum per-call length of three minutes and a maximum per-week limitation of 15 minutes.

Even with the above restrictions it is undoubtedly a very attractive service. If you want to talk more than what the free service allows, you can purchase call out credit.

You can also send SMS and even call Gtalk users by entering their Gmail address and clicking Dial.

Gizmocall also keeps a history of your calls. So, after the first time, you can make calls by a single click in the call history.
