PowerPoint presentations and slideshows can be large, which may be a problem if you need to send them to people. You could save everything to a folder along with the PowerPoint Viewer, but that requires a minimum of 9MB. One solution is to save the file as a PDF. PDFs are compact, can be viewed by anyone and are easily attached to emails.
To be able to save a PowerPoint presentation as a PDF, you first need to download the PDF/XPS add-on from Microsoft from the link below and save it.
Once downloaded, install it.
Now load your slideshow into PowerPoint, click the big Office button in the top-left corner and select Save As, PDF or XPS.
