Imagine you want to send an angry or an ill-thought-out message to someone, but don’t want to send an email because you fear that your recipient could hold on to the mail forever and use it against you some day. Is there an alternative?
There sure is. How about sending a message that will self-destruct after a preset time?
Destructingmessage lets you do just that. Go to destructingmessage.com and write your message. Choose how long the message will be alive from the time it is opened. You can choose from 15secs to 5mins. You have two ways of sending your message. You can either send an anonymous mail from the site itself or you can generate a link to the message and send the link to whoever you want to send it to. Note that even if you choose the email option, the mail will contain only a link to the message and not the message itself. Either way, the recipient has a limited time to read it before it is gone for good.
Be aware that if the recipient is smart and quick, he or she could grab a screenshot of the message before it disappears.
